While it may be a surprise out of the BLUE, a new trash company will soon be servicing you!   If they haven’t already, each resident will receive a BLUE, 95-gallon trash cart in the coming days in preparation for the first Meridian Waste collection day.   Beginning November 5th, trash will be collected on TUESDAYS of each week using the new BLUE cart. The cart should be placed curbside the night before or by 6:00am on Tuesday. Trucks will run between 6:00am and 7:00pm each Tuesday, unless a holiday occurs. All trash must be contained within the BLUE cart.   The last pickup using the Waste Management green cart will be on Monday, October 28th. After this pickup, please leave your empty green cart at the road to be collected. There will be no pickup on Monday, November 4th since it will be done on the next day from the BLUE cart.   For future BLUE cart service issues, or to request a BLUE cart replacement, please contact Meridian Customer Care at (256)344-4271 during normal business hours.
