Annual Water Rate Adjustment

Beginning with the October billing, Riverside water customers will see a 3% adjustment to the base water rate. This small annual adjustment was established in the City’s Water Ordinance to help with the rising costs of operating and maintaining our community’s water system.

Because the adjustment applies to the base rate, the total change in each customer’s bill will vary depending on water usage and service level.

These funds help support the continued operation and maintenance of Riverside’s water system and the delivery of safe, dependable water service to our community.
