  • Gratitude and Impact

    Having recently moved outside Riverside city limits, Councilmember Bill Cantley resigned from his position on the Riverside City Council. Councilman Cantley has served as the representative for District 3 since November 2011.   On behalf of the entire community, we would like to extend our gratitude for Councilman Cantley’s dedicated service over the past three terms. His commitment and dedication to our residents has not gone unnoticed. We thank him for his many years of hard work, his vision for community, and his unwavering support for the people he served. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors and look forward to seeing the continued impact of his efforts in the years to come. The remaining members of the City Council will begin seeking a replacement for the open seat that will run for the remainder of term ending in November of this year.

We recognize the importance of this day not just as a holiday, but as a moment to reflect on the courage and commitment of those who served and never returned home. We remember and honor them today and every day. City Hall will be closed on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day Take time to reflect, remember, and pay tribute to the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
